Question for You About an Age Old Wedding Tradition
Okay ladies, single and married, I would like to hear what you have to say. Zachary is getting married May 18 so all things wedding are on my mind and an idea came to me for the “something old” item but maybe I don’t even want to go there? Maybe it’s a tradition we should lay aside? What is your opinion of the old tradition of the bride carrying something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue? This tradition dates back several centuries. Here are some of the meanings behind each one. Something old – signifying that she is leaving her old life behind and is starting a new life…

Christmas Blog Header
My niece, Zoe is always revamping her blog and she did such a cute job for her Winter theme, I quickly put one together, too. I really wanted to have a family picture just like her but there’s too many in our family and we wouldn’t fit in a frame. In case you’re wondering, there’s 8 of us. 🙂 Thanks, Zoe for the nudge.

I have one other video that is worth watching by Sir Kevin but I can’t find the proper code for it, so I’ll just post the link and you will need to copy and paste into your browser. Be sure to leave a comment if you watch any of these videos and what your thoughts are about them.

God’s Hand of Protection Through a Tornado
I just heard about the tornado that hit Joplin, MO yesterday. There have been 122 people confirmed dead. Loulla Belle was there and writes of her experience and shares many pictures of the damage left by the tornado. Keep them in prayer as they go about finding people and their belongings. What a hard, hard thing for the people of Joplin. Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
