31 Days of Kitchen Inspiration

One of my favorite home-keeping jobs is working in the kitchen.

Yes, I get in RUTS where I wonder what in the world I’m going to feed the family each day… times when I wonder just how many ways EGGS can be made for breakfast… and other days when I wish I had a kitchen fairy who would wave their wand and give me a CLEAN  kitchen.  Those are the negatives for me but the good things are I get to test the million and one recipes that are out there, make my family happy with a meal that’s not only good for them but tasty (this can be hit and miss:)), learn food presentation skills and practice organizational skills (love that!)

31 Days of Kitchen Inspiration

So this month when I read The Nester and 7 other bloggers were going to host a 31 day challenge – 31 days of writing on a single topic – I decided to join.  I’ve never done anything like this before and 31 days sounds rather hectic but I’m going to give it a whirl.

Here are some of the topics that I thought would be fun to cover – although this could change at any time. 🙂

Week 1 – Kitchen Organization

Week 2 – Hospitality

Week 3 – Beautiful Kitchens

Week 4 – A Week of Breakfast’s (a personal challenge I seem to have)

Week 5 – Preparing for the Holidays

What do you think?  Are these topics you would be interested in reading about?

What are some of your favorite things in the kitchen and what are some of your biggest challenges?

I’d really love to hear from you.

I feel guilty for posting so often on your blog, but you have such interesting posts! I love working in the kitchen with my children. I really enjoy cooking and baking and we have had so many interesting discussions over the dishes. There’s nothing quite as rewarding as a really tasty meal by candlelight while the family lingers over dessert.

I struggle with food presentation ideas…any help in that area would be nice.

    Praying for your father-in-law!

I love hearing from you! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
