• How to Make Yogurt – My Failures & Finally My Success

With our goats producing extra milk, above what we were able to drink, I was able to try making various milk-based products like Feta Cheese, Ricotta (the simplest of all) and yogurt.  Making your own yogurt can sound very simple and it really was after I found a method that actually worked. How NOT to Make Yogurt Since it’s been awhile since I had my yogurt failures I cannot tell you the exact ways I tried; I should have written this a long time ago!  I do know that I tried making it in my Easiyo yogurt maker and ended up having more of a kefir than a yogurt.  We used that…

Bad picture quality, I know.  Sorry about that… Even if you aren’t a fan of mushrooms, you’re going to like this.  Just don’t use the mushrooms and all will be okay.  I got this recipe from Cooking During Stolen Moments and changed a…

  • Making Breakfast Ahead

I have the hardest time making breakfast in the morning.  I wake quite early but to hustle into the kitchen at 7a.m. and to get started on a big hot meal is really difficult for me.  So, I’ve been contemplating making breakfasts’ in bulk and freezing them, minimizing my preparation time in the morning.  I’m at the point where I’m ready to DO it.
