Our Family

A Little Food Love

We have started on the great garage clean-up. Not done yet but it’s lookin’ good – For a garage. 🙂

It won’t be a Martha Stewart work of art but we’ll feel just as pleased about it as if it were.

I’ve been monkeying around with my computer since it got that virus and we’ve been a little busy around here with some get-togethers. Of course, with these gatherings that means my life has been centered around food. Yum. 🙂

At a dinner celebrating my in-laws 59th wedding anniversary.  This fish was called butterfish.  Have you ever heard of it?  So mild you wouldn’t have thought it was fish you were eating.

Chilled Fruit Cups on a hot summer day was a great way to start off this gathering of young people here at the house.

Beautiful centerpieces my niece put together for a dinner honoring their pastors 80th birthday.

The heat has been pretty intense the last little bit but it’s cooled off just a tad with the monsoon season just about to begin.

Maybe you’ve heard of the Doce fire? Or the Yarnell Hill fire which claimed the lives of 19 young hotshots? Both of these fires are in our area. We desperately need rain.

The loss of these 19 men is such a tragedy.  May God be with their families.

Yikes! Sounds like ya’ll ought to come down here for a while. (It’s been raining A LOT.) Yeah. I’m convinced you should just move up to Wisconsin. ;)jk

The fruit cups sound especially nice today. Looks good!

I love hearing from you! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
