Trips We've Made

And They Are Wed

We arrived in the populous town of Shawano, Wisconsin (home to 9,189 persons). We came here for the purpose of seeing one of our Castle Keeper girls marry the love of her life.

You may remember Anna from the video that I made of her a few months ago when she became engaged, recapsulating her visit to Arizona for the Castle Keeper end-of-the-year party.

The girls got to see Anna for a short visit the night before she was married.

The day of the wedding shone bright and clear. No rain and the weather had warmed up to a very pleasant temperature. If you find me remarking on the weather often it’s because I’m such a lover of heat that I freeze in anything less than 74°F. 🙂

In my position at the wedding, I unfortunately was unable to get any real good shots without having several other heads in the top frame of my photos, but I’ll show you a few.

Anna’s dad performed the ceremony.

And her mom & aunt sang a song along with another one of our Castle Keeper girls from Arizona.

We celebrated as they came out of the church.

The reception was at a beautiful building made of red brick with French doors which gave it a warm welcoming appearance.

Anna had brought in a dresser to add to the ambiance and laid out her coffee bar on it along with crackers, meat sticks, cheeses and cookies for the pre-dinner snacks.

Of course, Anna being the coffee lover that she is and working at a local coffee shop, she had to incorporate it into her day someway.

The reception hall had a very romantic and elegant feel with the little white lights that criss-crossed above our heads.

Friends n Family

Seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

I hadn’t had a chance to see the Shoe game played.

I thought it quite humorous and a good game for a wedding.

They even did a stand-up, sit-down game for the crowd that had no point but was fun anyways.

The Castle Keeper girls and myself got one last picture with Anna before she headed off into the sunset. 🙂

The people were waiting…

The car was waiting…

But first, solace had to be given to Anna’s little sister who was having a hard time seeing her sister leave.

And goodbyes had to be said to other little boys and girls, while Ethan waited patiently.

But then they were off!

With many a good wishes being sent along with them.

So glad we could come and be a part of this momentous day!

Love the look of the reception building! You looked very nice Elisabeth, those are good colors on you. For some reason you really look like your sister Rachel in these pictures.

We 3 girls hear that more and more. And more and more people aren’t sure who’s older between Rebekah and me. No fair! I always looked younger when I was young but I wanted to look older. And now, when I want to look younger, people think I’m older. haha
