Aaron & Emily’s Wedding Part III

Then the wedding began!

Bro. Dave and Zachary provided the music before the ceremony began.

Sorry about the pictures to come.  They really aren’t very good.

The groomsmen came in – Aaron being very expectant.  But then, where were the girls?  The guys probably waited about 10 minutes before the girls finally showed up.

When the men first came in Zach & Bro. Dave finished the song they were playing and then the girls song (canned music) started.  They realized the girls weren’t there and it faded away; then Zach & Bro. Dave started playing again.  It was quite funny because they would come to the end of their song and expect the girls to be there but they weren’t – so they’d start again.  Finally, they just kept playing and Zach kept a vigilant eye on the door waiting to see when the bridesmaid’s would appear.

Here they are now!

The junior bridesmaid’s.

A runner of burlap was down when all the guests were seated. These two girls pulled the lace down the aisle to lay on top of the burlap for Emily to walk on as well as the flower girl and ring bearer.

Of course, these two almost stole the show.  They were quite funny.  Heidi, the flower girl, smiled shyly down the whole aisle as Luke pulled her. Luke was holding a Bible that belonged to Emily’s grandmother.  They don’t know if the Bible was handed down in the family or purchased somewhere in past years.

And then came beautiful Emily, walking down to music from the film, Anne of Green Gables.

At this point, they played Bro. Branham where he talks about Adam and his rib.  It was very touching.

I really appreciated Emily’s desire throughout her ceremony to show her love for God.

Aaron and Emily had memorized their vows.  It was a different rendition than the ones normally said but I really liked them.  Emily forgot part of hers but she ad libbed and it wasn’t too noticeable.  I had tears in my eyes at different times during this wedding.  I just was blessed by Emily’s enthusiasm for life and her joy in everything around her.  She’s always got a smile.

Emily, as a surprise for Aaron, sang a song.  I don’t know the name of it.

The newly wedded couple.

Other songs sang were:

Tim (uncle to the bride) & Aaron (Tim’s brother) “He Knows My Name

Bruce, the father of the bride, sang “Keeper of the Stars” (uhh, I found out this is a country song)

and two of the groomsmen sang the recessional “Learning How to Lean“. (this is the only video I could find with this song)

It was a different kind of recessional but it was a happy tune.

Pardon me, dear ladies, for dragging this on and making a Part IV for the reception but I reeealy have to go.  See you tomorrow. 🙂
