Homeschool Cabinet Tidied Up

Our homeschool cabinet needs tidied up now and again. Little people put things away cram things in any way they can…

After about 15 minutes, order was restored.

That messy cabinet was an eyesore.  It’s funny how a little 15 minute organization spurt can make one feel so much better.

You inspired me to clean out my hutch, where we keep the majority of our school books and supplies…I emptied the hutch, finding a ton of supplies that needed to be upstairs in the desk. I couldn’t just place them in there without tidying those drawers, could I? Some of the things in there belonged in another set of drawers, which also needed some TLC. Those led to a closet that looked like a tornado had touched down…several days later, it’s all nice and tidy and I’m very thankful for your inspiration. I think it’s a good thing school is almost finished so we can begin spring cleaning! :0)

Lily, you’re too funny. I’m glad you found some inspiration – you sound just like me – wanting everything in its rightful place. Unfortunately, I’ve had to learn to live with a lot of disorganization since I have 6 children and 4 of them are boys. They just don’t see that Tidyness & Cleanliness are next to Godliness. 🙂

Isn’t it amazing how you can spend all day putting things back in their rightful place that were mislaid?

Thanks for the comments. I really appreciate hearing from you.

I love things to be tidy! But, as you have learned, I have also had to learn that having four children (three of them girls, mind you) means that things get dirty, untidy and out of place. It’s a never ending battle, but I must admit, one that I really enjoy.

I love hearing from you! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
