Found: Couch Just for You

Lately I’ve found a few items that were left on the side of the road for the garbage man – left behind by tenants who had been renting from us.  Blame it on Thrifty Decor Chick,  Centsational Girl,  My Repurposed Life or a dozen others but they inspire me with their do it yourself techniques.  So, I’m going to try a few things on these little “treasures” or are they “junk”(?).  I suppose that remains to be determined but I’m excited about trying. 

  So yesterday I get a call from my son who just happens to be out in the woods bear hunting. 

He said, “Mom,  we just seen a couch out here in the woods and with your penchant for fixing things up I thought you might want it. If you do, just give a call.  It’s free.”

I had a good laugh.  But just wait, boys!  Just wait till I transform my trash to treasure!
