Weekly Review 12/12- 12/18/10
A few highlights of the past week.
Our generator’s (we are off-grid) voltage regulator went out on us and so we were left in the dark for a few hours while Russell rounded up another one. Candles were used as well as flashlights.
Playing the piano with a flashlight stuck inside a headband. 🙂
My son came home after spending 3 weeks with his grandpa. My dad had a heart attack in November so Seth went everywhere he did as his personal assistant. Dad still works at overseeing nursing homes being built. In the 3 weeks Seth was gone he was in Illinois, Florida, California and overnight in Nevada but the best part was all the time he got with grandpa. That’s something to be cherished!
So nice to have you home, Seth!
a birthday party on Saturday for a friend…
…where Russell had his first cup of coffee ever. Corrupted! 😀
and to slip in a photo from Sunday (the start of the new week). Zachary was asked to play his cello at a sister church for their children’s Christmas program. He is always quite happy to play his cello. No picture of Zach – just the kids in the program.
Come back tomorrow and see what I made this past week out of a pair of jeans.

I love Serenity’s dedication of practicing the piano even when the lights are out! In fact, I love to play the piano in very dim light…….it gives more “atmosphere”.:)
