Menu Plan Monday – June 1

I’ll be trying a few new things this week. The Olive Garden Salad, Quick Beef Wraps, Honey Ginger Salmon and Thai Cucumber Salad. I’ll let you know how they turn out.

Monday

Breakfast: Eggs, toast, fruit

Supper: Our 4-H club is serving pizza. I’ll bring along an Olive Garden Salad.

Tuesday

Breakfast: Serenity’s day to make breakfast. We’re having an open house for the real estate agents so we better have something easy! I’ll suggest to Serenity to make a healthy shake so we can have easy clean-up.

Supper: We’re having a special guest – the man who bought our kids’ 4-H animals this year and who has been a wonderful support through the years of 4-H. We met him through 4-H when the kids went to him for presentations on their animals and to invite him to the auction. For some reason he took to my kids. (I can’t imagine why! LOL)

Tony Roma’s Carolina Honey Ribs (from A Treasury of Top Secret Recipes), Baked Potatoes, Cornbread (Serenity’s making her special recipe), Summer Salad (from Healthy in a Hurry by Company’s Coming – a new cookbook I received as a thank you gift), Honey Roasted Carrots or Sauteed Lima Beans (If my husbands knows that I’m contemplating these two items ahead of time they’ll sure enough get the axe! I think I’ll just let him be surprised Tuesday night.), Ice Cream for dessert & maybe peach crisp – since the rest of the meal is heavy

Wednesday

Breakfast: Blueberry Pancakes

Supper: Quick Beef Wraps (from Healthy in a Hurry by Company’s Coming), Thai Cucumber Salad (from Healthy in a Hurry by Company’s Coming) – Sounds like I’ve put together an interesting combination, doesn’t it?

Thursday

Breakfast: Oatmeal w/ toast

Supper: Tacos or something similarly easy

Friday

Breakfast: Fruit Bowls – but this week instead of blackberries we’ll use raspberries since they’re on sale

Supper: Honey Ginger Salmon (from Healthy in a Hurry by Company’s Coming) , Basmati Rice, Broccoli, Salad?

Hi Elisabeth – thanks for dropping by my blog. I found you through the Menu Plan Monday listing šŸ™‚ My recipes aren't really "recipes"… the kefir smoothies are just kefir (which is cultured, slightly bubbly milk) and whatever fruit we happen to have on hand. And I make my kombucha popsicles by pouring the kombucha into cups and adding sticks then freezing šŸ˜‰ If you want the actual recipes for the kefir and kombucha (which is what I think you're really looking for šŸ˜‰ ), I can email you those – just email me at hiddenpathways@gmail.com šŸ™‚

I love hearing from you! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
