A week ago Serenity (11yo) hosted her first ever event – an Anne of Green Gables tea party. I was amazed to watch her planning skills and creativity blossom with this occasion. Best White Icing Ever
When preparing for a birthday party, for some reason I never feel like I have the time to make a birthday cake from scratch. I usually buy a cake mix, maybe make my own icing or purchase some. I really dislike store icing and yet I didn’t have any homemade icing recipe that I was bowled over by – until Justus’s birthday. I found one at Allrecipes that I’m hooked on.
