Master Bedroom Progress

I’m quite excited because after a few years I’m actually starting to make some progress in the master bedroom. I have curtains hung and I purchased a few pillows for my bed as well as a throw. Progress, people! It feels good!

My daughter, Serenity ordered a few pillow forms through the mail a long time ago but decided not to use them.

Instead of paying the return postage we kept them and instead of taking up closet space, I think I’ll actually use them on my bed! That’s what they’re for after all. So yesterday, I picked me up some fabric and my plans are to get them made today. I found a really great tutorial online for making an envelope pillow slip cover that looks quite easy so I’m going to try it.

I would say it’s much cheaper to buy pillows already covered instead of buying pillow forms and fabric. These pillows are going to be costing me about $15 each. That seems pricey to me but then again I haven’t checked pillow prices for awhile.
