A Winter Mantle of Candles, Pinecones, Lights and Some Joy Mixed In
I’m getting excited. Christmas is almost here and family will be arriving next week. My son, Seth will be home and he’ll be staying until his wedding in February. So many things to look forward to.
Lots of planning still to do.
Thirty-five people staying here. We’d better get that cabin completed!
I’m brainstorming ideas for activities we can do with the family. We started a tradition two years ago of playing the game crokinole but I want to add a prize to it.
At first I thought I’d get a trophy that would be given to the winner every time we have Christmas together (which is every other year) but now I’m mulling over making a little sign. I’ll keep you updated on what I come up with.
Depending on the weather, we’re hoping to have our Christmas Dinner in the pergola
like we did for the Castle Keeper girls’ Winter party.
How is your holiday planning coming along?

Thank you! Made my day to hear from you. 🙂

Your mantle looks “copy” worthy…i.e. belongs in a magazine for others to “copy”! 🙂
Great Season’s Readings this year and we’re champing at the bit to see the completion of what promises to be a very popular cabin! A definite shoo-in for continual occupancy! 🙂

You’re always so uplifting – such a nice trait. Thank you for the kind words.
They’re working hard on the cabin hoping to have it livable by Christmas.
