Baby Shower Activity That Brought a Smile
Castle Keepers begins today and we’re all looking forward to our 2nd year. It’s a group of girls from ages 13 and up (unless they have younger sibilings than they can also participate) that learn homemaking skills and other things for when they are managers of their own households. We meet once a month and each mom takes a turn teaching the class through the year. Today we will be learning glass etching. I can’t wait to see what the girls come up with.
I’ve written about the club in previous posts. You can just do a search for “Castle Keepers” and it will bring up our past activities. I also issue a monthly challenge each month to the girls. This allows us to have some long distance members as well. Since I’m supposed to be issuing this month’s challenge today or tomorrow I better figure out what the challenge is! I do have some ideas but I need to finalize it. 🙂
Anyways, I wanted to share an activity we did at my first grandchild’s baby shower last weekend. We handed out pieces of paper on which everyone was to write what they wish they would have did, what they did or if they were not married, what they would do with their child from ages 0-5. Later that day, after everyone had left, I really enjoyed reading what everyone wrote. But then I read Audrey’s and I just loved it. Why are kids so cute?!!
Be nice to them
Potty train
Change their diapers
Pinch them to grow a inch
Go to the park
Pretty good advice wouldn’t you say? 🙂

That’s so cute! This kid is really amazing. Who would have thought that she will listed that kind of advice? She will surely inspire many people and she will become a very good parent when she will have her own family.
