Needing to Make a Decision
When you are unsure of yourself you can become the most indecisive, can’t-make-a-decision-for-the-life-of-you person around. And that’s where I’m at right now.
I’m really considering making my own tufted headboard. Sarah at Thrifty Decor Chick makes it look so doable.
Or my other option is to paint my current headboard using chalk paint. It would be painted a white with areas rubbed off to show the wood underneath which would give it more character in my opinion. A friend of mine did this to her kitchen table and it looks fabulous.
I’m just scared I’ll mess the whole thing up. 🙁
Do you ever feel intimidated by projects you have planned?
I am brimming with ideas but they all require branching out of my comfort zone and that’s not comfortable at all! 🙂

Hi sis! Why not try the tufted headboard but on a smaller scale as a sort of “test run”. Try a small pin-up board or something first, like a 12×12 or 16×16 and see how that goes. Same concept just not as big an investment!

Nice idea, Rebecca!

Lol – I was just thinking about how hard it is to make decisions. “I used to be indecisive, but now I’m not sure…” {A quote I’ve found to be pitifully accurate.}
Good luck!

I think the painted one sounds easier. ;). But anxious to see what you come up with. 🙂

I’ve decided to try and make my headboard. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will work out.

I have confidence in you, if you don’t. Ha! Can’t wait to see it!
Elisabeth
Ah, thanks for the vote of confidence.
