31 Days of Kitchen Inspiration Day 21: More Ideas on Gifts for the Kitchen
Anna left a comment a few days ago in response to a question I posted on Handmade Gifts for the Kitchen. I was asking for any ideas people would have on gifts one could make for the kitchen. Anna responded that she likes to crochet potholders and dishcloths for the kitchen.
I’ve received a few crocheted dishcloths in the past but had forgotten all about it. Thanks for the suggestion, Anna.
Here’s one my aunt gave Serenity which she placed away in her hope chest. (I’ll have to show you the hope chest her brother just gave her – AFTER our 31 Days of Kitchen Inspiration is over 🙂 )
I do find them to be somewhat bulky to work with. Is there a way to make them more thin?
So pretty.
Updated: Anna so kindly emailed me a few photos of a dishcloth that she crocheted. It turned out lovely, Anna. It looks as though it was made from a finer thread, making it easier to use, too.
This drying towel, made by Serenity, was made with a tea towel and some felt. So cute and easy enough for kids to make.
Pin. Sew. Press. has a really helpful tutorial to make these useful drying towels. I think I could even make this project. 🙂
Centsational Girl has some awesome looking cutting boards she made. I really want to try my hand at these.
Just a few more gift ideas that can be made for the kitchen in our 31 Days of Kitchen Inspiration.
