31 Days of Kitchen Inspiration Day 19: Handmade Gifts for the Kitchen – Great Christmas Gift Ideas
Christmas Gift Ideas
Handmade gifts are so special and I love the thought of giving them but because I’m not sure of myself in this area – it paralyzes me. Anyone else like that?
I love to quilt (if and when I ever get the chance) and have wanted to make pot holders for a very long time as gifts. But then my niece beat me to it because she didn’t let her thinking get in the way. She just did it. And I love them.
The picture shows some graininess on the white muslin – not sure why.
I’ve also received another set of pot holders a few years ago that are so beautiful – Very detailed. The young lady that gave these to me also gave me a matching apron. Very talented girl!
My little Audrey was given this apron by her grandma. If you remember, that’s my mom that loves to embroider. See some of her other embroidery handiwork here.
Mom had her name done by someone with a embroidery machine.
If you’re wanting to make gifts for Christmas this year, now’s the time to start thinking about it.
What gifts have you made for the kitchen. I could use some ideas because I would really like to make some handmade ones this year.

Hmm… For the kitchen, I would normally crochet dishcloths or potholders and the things that you just suggested. 😀
Home-crafted things are nice. (The personality of the gift makes it even more special in most cases. 🙂
