Virginia Here We Come

We are off!  After planning for several months our trip to the Jamestown, Yorktown, Williamsburg area in Virginia, we’re finally off! 

We’re going to be part of the week-long celebration that Vision Forum has put together.  Afterwards we will be doing some touring on our own.

I’ve been reading to the children a book I bought through Vision Forum called Stories of the Old Dominion by John Esten Cooke.  It was written in 1879 by Mr. Cooke to his two boys.  It is well written, very interesting and informative.  I definately recommend it.
