What A Week!
I wonder if Doug Phillips imagined just how much time the Jamestown 400 Treasure Hunt would take. The hunt ends on Tuesday for which my family will be very thankful. I’m feeling rather tired after going to bed late and getting up early to try and work on clues.
This past weekend we had a family visiting whose 11yo son wanted to take a ride on one of our horses. He hasn’t rode much. For some reason, the horse came to a stop from a trot right in the middle of the road (we think it’s because he was laying on the horses head). The boy went flying over its head and hit hard. They took him to the hospital where they found out he had a broken nose, 1 1/2 broken teeth and a crack in his shoulder. Not nice.
Seth our 16yo, had an MRI done on Tuesday to see if there was anything that could have caused the seizure he had a few weeks ago. The technician taking the test said nothing stood out to her. We’ve also had an EEG done which showed nothing and blood tests that showed nothing. We took him to a naturopath and they’ve put him on B-complex vitamins. We’re trusting he never has another one.
The kids are really doing well on school this week. I’ve been learning about the Visual Spatial Learner (VSL) and trying a new math program with Zachary. He really likes it. I hope to do a post on this soon.
Hope your week is going smoothly. Hasta Luego!

Just wanted to say a little prayer for you. I figure everyone is praying for your boys, You must need a hug from Jesus after the last couple of weeks.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie

OUCH!
I pray that the doctors are able to figure out what happened with Seth. My own (4year old) daughter will be having an MRI and EEG in a couple of weeks. She has had some speech regression, and has developed a tremor. Her neurologist is wondering if she is having mini-seizures as well. I'm a little nervous about the MRI because she has to be put under general anesthesia, (standard protocol for small children who can't sit still for the MRI.) I know the Lord will see her though!
