Looking for a Schedule?
For all of you who like to look at other peoples schedules, heres one for you.
A day at Kingswood Hill, a boarding school John Wesley started, went like this:
8p.m. – 4a.m. sleep
8 hours for study
When the children were not sleeping or studying they were to pray, sing, work in the garden when the weather was good or inside the house when the weather was bad.
Play time? No need for it.
The boys were never to be left alone, but always under the eye of a master who was to keep them busy and from idle talk. There were no holidays, and no vacations allowed, because a week from school might undo the good habits they were forming. http://www.thebookofdays.com/months/june/17.htm
And my boys think they have it rough?!

Moments of homeschooling are always in the eye of the beholder. When I began Homeschooling our two children, we were “underground”. from the moment they woke up (6:30am-7:00am) until the neighborhood kids came home (3:30pm-4:00pm) our children remained indoors behind closed curtains. Now I watch my daugther homeschooling her six children (10 years to 8 months) I am amazed at her stamina and multitasking abilities! So I am wondering if you are living during a time when “entertainment” isn’t a factor…it wasn’t as tough as it seems?
