Nature Treasure Hunt

Camping at Lake Powell
We have a little tradition that when our children finish their phonics program (Sing, Spell, Read and Write) we let them pick some place in our state they would like to go. My dear daughter, SH age 8, chose to go to Lake Powell, a beautiful lake on the Arizona-Utah border. We left last Monday taking my brother-in-laws boat and then renting a water bike. I have been reading a lot about saving money on groceries. Thanks to those who shared with me what they do to save money. You actually are the ones that made me even think about looking on the Internet for more ideas. Grocery Budget
I havent personally taken the time to count every reference in the Bible made about money. The late Larry Burkett must have because he said there were more references made about money than any other single subject in the Bible. My husband handles our finances and does a very capable job of it. He does not see the need for us to be on a budget. He says if we dont need it we wont buy it and if we do need it well buy it. Camping ahhh, Lets get away for a few days and just relax ahhh. What doesnt enter the mind at that moment is all the preparation that goes into the day after making such a restful decision.
