Another Milestone Marked
One weekend in July became another milestone marked. Zachary graduated from 8th grade and participated in our state homeschool convention’s ceremony. They do such a good job putting the program together, although I would have liked to seen a little more modest clothing on some of the girls. I was feeling rather emotional that week just thinking that now I have two boys finished with grade 8. It felt like a door to their childhood had closed. Four years of high school and then the closing of their childhood forever. At that point things will really start to change. I am so thankful for the blessing God gave us in Zachary. …

Rotelle Pasta Salad
My mom found this recipe on the Internet but I don’t know the exact source. I had doubts about putting cooked vegetables in the salad and so I was pleasantly surprised with the results. It tastes very good and gives the salad color. Rotelle Pasta Salad 8oz. package rotelle pasta 6 slices bacon 16oz. frozen mixed vegetables 1 cup Italian style salad dressing 1 tsp. yellow mustard 1 Tbsp. seasoning salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped 3oz. turkey breast, chopped into bite-size pieces 1 cup shredded cheddar Fry bacon; crumble. Cook frozen vegetables 4 -6 minutes. Keep crisp; drain. Mix all ingredients together, reserving some bacon…

I am so excited to share some of the things I’ve been reading lately about habits. Some of the information I’ve heard countless times but it’s just now starting to sink into the ol’ grey matter.
