Look who turned 4 this week! This is the boy who locked himself in the church bathroom and couldn’t get out, and another time when he was procrastinating eating his broccoli, received a phone call that caused him to eat it up. During my recent trip to Pennsylvania, when he stayed home with his daddy and brothers, Russell came upstairs one day to find him with 2 eggs on the counter and the frying pan heating up.  Having no mother around to take care of him I guess it was a matter of survival. ´The past 4 days was full of frenetic activity.  Our 4 oldest children sold their 4-H animals.  We had a steer, lamb and 2 pigs.  Zachary and Serenity also showed their dogs. It’s great fun after having an animal for the last 3-6 months to take it to EXPO and sell.  The 4-H volunteers do so much – they really put their all into it for the kids.  It’s very well run and little extras to make things even better are always being added. Yesterday (Sunday) was our 18th wedding anniversary.  It doesn’t seem that long since we walked down the aisle together but here we are 18 years later with 6 wonderful children.  The Lord certainly blessed my life when he gave me Russell.  He has helped me in countless ways to grow as a person, has been a true Christian and an outstanding father.  That afternoon we were faced with the realization of how quickly things can change.  Russell was taking a nap and the rest of us were doing various things.  Seth was in the Living Room reading a book and I was in the Library.  I heard Seth’s feet repeatedly hitting…
