A Pizza Worth Making and Eating
Most of my family is not a big fan of chicken. Not that they don’t enjoy the flavor but they can’t get past the fact that they are pumped full of hormones. So the other day when I served Kittencal’s Moist Cheddar-Garlic Oven Fried Chicken I was left with a lot of chicken. The flavor was very good (lots of garlic) but they just couldn’t enjoy it. So I have quite a bit of chicken I need to use in some other way besides as single serving pieces. So I decided to try a Chicken Alfredo Pizza. Then I could disguise the chicken that was added. A Fine Dinner & Giving to Charity
The Castle Keeper girls have been busy each month with their monthly challenges but I have been remiss in posting them. So here is February & March’s monthly challenges here in one post. In February, the girls had two challenges. One was to drink 4 1/2 cups of water 6 days a week and the second challenge was to prepare one (1) course of food for your parents. For example, appetizer or dessert. If they wanted to make a whole meal that was fine but they were only obligated to 1 course. If there was more than one girl involved in Castle Keepers, each girl was to prepare a course.…

Our Trip to the Great White North, Part II
We managed to leave Manitoba for a few days for a quick trip to Sasketchewan. Oh, it was so good to see old friends. The roads we traveled in Manitoba looked like this and not very safe. The highway was so desolate. No gas stations, no houses, no lights for miles and miles. Not even another car. I was so happy we made it safely to Sask. without ending up in a ditch! I have a new respect for Canadians after our visit. They are pretty tough people. They know they could end up stuck when things are bad so some are sure to have ski pants & boots in…

Our Trip to the Great White North, Part I
Well hello everyone! I really didn’t mean to be absent for so long. We’ve been doing some travelling lately – Michigan & Canada. “In the winter,” you say? Yes, we sure did. We went to our dear friend’s daughter’s wedding in Michigan and had a lovely time. The bride made her own dress. I am so impressed! We were home for a few days and then it was off to Canada! Specifically Manitoba where we spent 10 wonderful days. Audrey had to go outside on the morning after our arrival and about froze because she wasn’t properly dressed for the weather. I thought it was quite funny that instead of…

3 Things Your Daughter Can Do While Waiting for Mr. Right
I wrote the following thoughts for the girls in our Castle Keeper club. I trust it is a blessing to you. Chances are you are starting to think of your future and start to wonder who God has for you. Who you will wed, what he looks like and how it’s going to come about and…on and on. It’s how God designed us. Maybe you think that year is far off but is it? Whether that day is 1 or 2 or even 5 years away there are some things are some things you can be doing right now while you are waiting. 1. Pray for your future mate. If…
