The Weaver
The Weaver My life is but a weaving Between my Lord and me. I cannot choose the colors; He worketh steadily. Oftentimes he weaveth sorrow, And I in foolish pride Forget he sees the upper, And I the underside. Not til the loom is silent And the shuttles cease to fly, Shall God unroll the canvas And explain the reason why. What Can Wash Away My Sins?
A great devotional our family had one morning was when we took a cup of bleach (explaining that it represented the blood of Jesus) and dropped several drops of red food coloring into it (explaining that this represented our sins). Advice Please – Review System Methods for Memorization
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to set up a review system for poems, scriptures, etc.? My kids memorize different things from each other so to set up a review system on index cards would take up a lot of space as they memorized more and more passages. Also, how does your children work on memorizing verses? How often? So far, as far as reviewing goes, I have photocopied whatever they are memorizing…

Play time? No need for it. The boys were never to be left alone, but always under the eye of a master who was to keep them busy and from idle talk. There were no holidays, and no vacations allowed, because…
