Skiing Arizona in March
What a wonderful few days we spent this week in the high country of Arizona. There is a ski resort, ran by Apaches, that is still open for business although the snow was icy in parts and slushy in others. Optimum snow it was not but we had a good time anyways! I figure if everyone could ski on that snow they would be incredible on decent snow. There was quite a group of us and we got in under a school rate. Week in Review 2/27/11 – 3/5/11
We had a birthday here this week. Mine, as a matter of fact. I had a very nice day. For my birthday breakfast, Zachary prepared a delicious omelet, Russ bought me some flowers and Serenity did the rest. She’s always so thoughtful to me. Friends from the south arrived at our place and we gave them a taste of farm life here at the ranch… and showed them the beautiful grandeur of the Grand Canyon. Of course, there’s always music. The past week there’s been a little art… a little hairstylin’ going on… (Audrey wanted my hair to look pretty, so she fixed it all up.) 🙂 (Uhhh, hmmm, please ignore the adverb poster that’s falling in the background. I’m pretty much behind the times when it comes to iPod’s, iTouch’s & iPhone’s. The rest of my family have iPod’s but not me and I actually have no real interest in getting one. My phone is a pretty old one passed on to me by my dear hubby. However, this past summer I was bitten by the “technology bug” when my good friend showed me her iTouch and I fell in love! The little icons you could just touch with your fingers to use, the versatility and ease of use looked so attractive. I was completely impressed. The price tag on those things is not too nice though and I didn’t even know if I could justify getting one off the used market. …

Week in Review 2/13/11
A trip to California, visitors and a big book sale are a few of the things I’ve been up to the last few weeks. I’ve been very inattentive to this blog, have I not? 🙂 This week we had the loveliest tea party. Audrey (my 5yo) set it all up. As you can see, Serenity bedecked herself with quite the finery.
