A Finished Laundry Room… Almost
I am so happy with my laundry room and the recent changes I’ve made. First we finished my sewing corner. Finished may not be the right word since there are still some things I want to do in this corner. For starters I’d like to fix that light cord that’s hanging along the ceiling. But I’m loving having a dedicated sewing spot. Love! Now that I use this cubbyhole as my sewing corner, I wanted a place to put supplies, materials and other craft projects. My Sewing Corner Reveal
I am really excited to tell you about a home project that we (ahem) my dad finished for us when both mom and dad were here around Christmas time. A few years ago we made a bedroom for our boys in the attic. A Yellow Accented Tablescape
This past week we had a small dinner party. I had so much fun coming up with this tablescape using the napkins I bought for my Thanksgiving tablescape in 2011. My thoughtful niece gave me this yellow pitcher at Christmas time. It’s perfect for my home. Next to it is the little salt and pepper shaker that my son gave me years ago. A Tea Party Princess, a Skunk and a Home Video in the Works
Audrey got to go a little girl’s birthday tea party. Serenity fixed her hair and did such a cute job. I am one thankful mother to have a girl who knows how to work with hair! Aren’t these little girls adorable? In other news here at the ranch, we had another skunk tear this open and stay the night, and maybe the next night and who know’s… we’re not for sure where it is at this point! My little girl’s smile – it’s like a ray of sunshine to my heart Seeing my 8 year old son reading & enjoying it Second chances Teenagers who love the Lord Satisfaction in life does not come from how much we accumulate in this life, the places we go or any other number of things, but it comes from knowing we are fulfilling our calling as a mother and wife.
