A Special Evening – 60 Years of Marriage
Our guests are all gone now and we’re just getting the house back in order, laundry under control and some sleep, too! But this past weekend we got to be part of a special evening – my sister’s mother and father-in-law were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. I was elected to make the Tomato Caprese Salad. Never having made one, it took me several tries and many questions to finally figure out how it’s done. Farewell Till 2009
The results are in on the ‘Crumby’ poll. Most of you do not advocate sweeping the crumbs onto the floor. I’ll have to break the news to them today. I’m sure it’s going to break their hearts. One of my boys tried to manipulate the results by voting more then once – but it wouldn’t allow him to since he would be using the same IP address. Keeping Track of Accomplishments
You may have read on Doug Phillip’s blog this entry about chronicling the Providences of God that occurred in your family in the past year. One morning around the breakfast table this week we discussed this and I (as the family secretary ) wrote down my family’s replies. I plan to type it up and place it in a notebook.
