We planned, we worked and now it’s over.  Our first end-of-the-year party for Castle Keepers. There were elements of it that were a little stressful and there are things I would change but in the end we had so much fun. The highlight of the evening to me was our pie auction. The girls were asked to make 2 pies. One to be judged by our secret judges and then served for dessert to our guests and the other one to be auctioned off with all proceeds going to Castle Keepers. Well our first year, 2013/2014, for our girls club is almost over all except for our end-of-the-year party.  Our last monthly challenge is finishing up next week but since Serenity and Audrey have already completed it, I decided to share it with you. The challenge was to make another young mother a gift for her baby girl that was still to be born. (She has since had a healthy little one.) For those over 13, it had to be made by hand.
