When Your Children Grow Up
It’s one month since we waved Wesley off as he caught a flight to Canada. He joined up with my oldest son and his wife and they then traveled on to British Columbia for a 2 month stint as hunting guides/wrangler in the Canadian wilderness. I had to send a few care packages which was my homemade granola and a Scripture verse on the package to remind Wesley to ‘Rise and Shine’ even if it is at the crack of dawn. I’m so ready to see him again. He’s the kind of boy that makes his presence known when he’s around! But adventure called…. oh wait, that was…

A Wedding Reception in a Barn – So Chic
The reception for Luke and Zoe was held in a newly built barn. Apparently, the original barn had been destroyed in a fire on this working farm and the owners rebuilt and used it for their daughter’s wedding and are now going to rent it out for events. It was a lovely venue, so beautiful inside that decorations were hardly needed. Before the reception started, there was appetizers at the back of the barn. A lovely drink station was also stationed here. Nut breads, crackers with cheese and meat along with fruit was served on top of pallets piled one on top of another. I didn’t get there…

Simply Beautiful – My Niece’s Wedding
It was a perfect day for a wedding. No rain which was amazing in itself because it rained a lot the whole week we were there. The guest book table. (I took this picture the night of the rehearsal so try to disregard that vacuum in the background.) Zoe did a beautiful job doing all the writing on her wedding program. The reverse side had the order of events listed out. Waiting for the wedding to begin… My mom and some of her grandchildren… Zachary & Hannah provided the music. It was beautiful. Grandfather’s blessings… Planting a bonsai tree. This was fitting since Zoe has…

Gathering Together for a Beautiful Wedding in Pennsylvania
It was a beautiful day, at a beautiful venue and a very special time for all of us as we celebrated my niece and our new nephew’s wedding. We all landed a few days before the wedding. These are some of my favorite shots. Cousins and friends Serenity, myself and Ruth our friend from New York. Ruth’s family is the ones that showed us so much love and hospitality when we visited them in October. Zoe’s two grandpa’s. This dresser was found on the side of the road. My sister nabbed it and repurposed it for use as a refreshment stand at the wedding. Such a great idea. Grandpa…

A Hunting Themed Birthday Party
I must have had too much time on my hands and nothing upcoming to plan because I decided to give Wesley a birthday/going away party. This coming Saturday, the 19th, he turns 22 and on the same day he’s flying to Canada. It’s hunting season once again and Seth is the hunting guide, Wesley his wrangler and this time they’ll have their own cook….. Jessica! They’ll be riding in on horses for 3 days and once in, they won’t be coming out for 2 months. This will be an adventure for Jessica to cook over a camp fire if they’re unable to get a propane stove for her. Anyways, back…
