Aaron & Emily’s Wedding Part IV – the Reception
Well I’m pretty sure by now you all are heartily wishing I’d finish all the posts on the wedding. That I hope to do today! So bear with me just a teensy bit more, ‘kay? The wedding reception hall was almost adjacent to the wedding chapel. The setting at the campground was quite pretty and you can see what it looked like here. In the 5th picture down, it shows the guests waiting to enter the chapel and you can see the reception hall at the back of the picture. But before the reception could begin, there were pictures to be taken… (Emily’s family) Heidi (the flower girl) was feeling right at…

Aaron & Emily’s Wedding Part III
Then the wedding began! Bro. Dave and Zachary provided the music before the ceremony began. Sorry about the pictures to come. They really aren’t very good. The groomsmen came in – Aaron being very expectant. But then, where were the girls? The guys probably waited about 10 minutes before the girls finally showed up. Saturday, March 10th was the big day for Aaron & Emily. The weather at the time of their wedding was in the low 60’s with no wind. That’s a big blessing in itself. Hello, ladies. I hear some of you are wanting pictures of the wedding like right now and details. Sorry to keep you waiting. lol I’ll do my best to give you a good overview of the wedding. But first we must start at the beginning of the weekend with the tarts I made. No? That’s not what you’re wanting to see? Enough food pictures already? Okaaaay, if you insist. I shall begin with the rehearsal dinner since that was so lovely. The Hotel St. Michael was built in 1901. It faces the courthouse square that is so charming in downtown Prescott. Some of its more well-known guests includes Theodore Roosevelt, Doc Holiday…

Treats from My Kitchen
I’ve been preparing for Emily, my niece’s wedding the last few days. She got married today but I’ll save that for another post. You’ll just have to stick around the next few days so you can see all the pictures. 🙂 There were strawberries to be dipped in chocolate… tarts to be filled… and mini red velvet cakes to be assembled. I baked all the tart shells early in the week but almost everything else was done on Friday with last-minute things completed Saturday morning before the wedding. I dipped about 250 strawberries… These are the Caramel Carmenita tarts. The Lemon Merignue tarts. And finally my mini Red Velvet Cakes I transported…
