Hunting Camp 2013
Well it’s come and gone – Hunting Camp 2013. It was one of the smaller camps we’ve had – only about 42 people – but all the faithfuls/diehards came once again. 🙂

Gone to Hunting Camp
It’s that time of year. The elk hunt is upon us and we’re off camping and enjoying those fire starters that Justus made at our Castle Defenders class. He burned one before we left just to see how it would do. It was pretty amazing! It burned for over 8 minutes!! I liked how they worked so much that me and Audrey made some more just for us. I’m looking forward to a good hot fire.

Only a Few Short Years
The journey began 17 years ago when my firstborn turned six. Our homeschool journey. As we plan, work, cry, learn and journey together, sometimes it seems as if it will go on forever but it really doesn’t. It’s just a few short years we have with these children who are God’s own special delight – a blessing He in His infinite wisdom sends us. I’m a flawed woman. So many flaws. But He says, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” And that’s what I hold onto. His Word and what He say’s about me. Not what I see but what He says…
