Great job with the space-saving racks. Space is very important in a travel trailer, so nice work!

Thanks for the good read!

One thing about a smaller area to take care of and clean is you can get it all done more quickly, have time for crafts, walks/hikes, or whatever else you like to do. I’m not one to get bored easily because my mind is always thinking up something to do, but for sure wherever I was, I would have to set up a beautiful seating area outside as well as doing whatever it took to make a cozy place inside to live and enjoy looking at. Not matter how big or how small it is always fun to “set up house” and cozy it up and make it feel cheery and cozy…and of COURSE, romantic. 🙂

Loved your organizing racks, by the way.

So many suggestions. I love how you “lived” life instead of putting it on hold while living in a small apartment.

Mary, For Hannah’s shower my niece gave her a wooden whiskey barrel and a watering can with seeds. Hannah was so excited about it because she loves flowers. So you’re thinking right along with her when you say “make a cute sitting area outside”. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

Well, when I’m bored, I like to work on a sewing project, call friends, listen to something (audio drama, Brother Branham, etc.) and do something with my hands(quiltng or beading, most of the time.) It’s always great to spend some extra time reading the Bible and very nice to write/schedule blog posts… and cook – because food makes EVERYONE in my family happy. ‘Specially if it’s dessert. 😀

Anyway.

There’s my two cents 😉

I would spend time reading….fixing up “house”…make a cute sitting area outside if possible to have a place to enjoy fresh air and to entertain if more people…take walks …learn a new hobby…visit an elderly person once a week. Just a few ideas. 🙂

You are going to be an awesome mother-in-law! We had a tiny, up-stairs apartment when we were first married. I treasure every memory we made in it and wouldn’t have traded it for the world. We had company over for meals, planned and hosted young people’s get togethers, we even had about a dozen guys camp out on our living room floor for a weekend. We started a choir for the young people. I made treats and made friends with our neighbors, who were mostly elderly. One older lady taught me to knit. My days were filled making from-scratch meals, cleaning my house everyday (I was reminded by a friend that I used to mop daily. 🙂 (The floors get it once a week whether they need it or not, now!) I did a lot of sewing. It would be nice to make a scrapbook of your first year, sew a quilt, prepare baby clothes 😉 enjoy going back to bed after you get your husband off to work for the day, read through the Bible in a year, read lots of books and get to know your husband! Enjoy every minute of this very special time!
