Lily, I traced the kids’ hands onto paper and used that as a pattern for the fabric.

My family will probably never forget this Thanksgiving. Poor things. It’s going to be a real break from the normal fare we usually have. Blame it on Dr. Weston Price’s book! 🙂 The chicken and home-made noodles sounds so good. I’ve never heard of a blueberry pretzel salad, only a strawberry one and it tasted quite good – the cream cheese was what made it, IMO.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Your menu sounds deicious and HEALTHY! I find most of the NT recipes to be tasteful except the salad dressings, mayo and one or two other recipes. I haven’t tried any of the lacto-fermented recipes. I have a ton of sauerkraut to use and we use a lot of yogurt.

If we have Thanksgiving with my family in Ohio, some of my favorite UNHEALTHY must-haves are: chicken & home-made noodles, cranberry salad (with tons of sugar), blueberry pretzel salad & lime-pinapple fluff. We ate a pretty plain diet growing up (a lot of beans), but we always had a huge Thanksgiving dinner every year.

For another green, how about brussel sprouts sauteed with bacon? Can’t wait to see your finished runner!
