When I first read your comment, Lily, I thought it said “vein -burger”. I was undertandably horrified until I took a second look.

Actually grinding the liver up is not a bad idea. They say it is really good for you, but we don’t eat it either. Russell is convinced it can’t be good for you since it’s the filter for the body.

Did you ever hear the story of Aunt Lilly feeding her guests beef tongue? You should get her recipe!! 😀 Everyone loved it… that is until they found out what it really was. Actually, I was so inspired after hearing how she cooked it, that I decided to try cookin a buffalo tongue dear Daddy had bought home and put in our freezer. Well… I don’t think it turned out quite as good as hers did!! 😀 I’ll spare you the details. LOL!!!
By the way, we all got a good laugh over Uncle Russell’s dream about Dad’s delectable roast buzzard… that was hilarious!!
