Yes Kristen, it’s much easier if there’s 2′ of space separating them. Another positive is the material on your banquette would probably be dirty in a short amount of time. Maybe it will be perfect timing in just a few turns of the sun. Thanks for stopping by.

Jana, What fond memories of tea with your grandmother!

I love the natural talents your family has; you all are such an inspiration to me! I knew you were a big advocate of simplicity but I didn’t know you liked the cottage style. I love it, too but I just need to figure out how to incorporate it into my house. You know how rustic it is. Maybe you should help me out? 🙂

I feel honored that you took the time to comment. Thank you.

When our Grandma lived there she would invite me up for tea…a memory like that makes you love them forever… 🙂
Your recent photos are right down my alley! I love simplicity anytime, anywhere and especially combined with the “cottage” look. 🙂
Your blog brings me smiles whenever I get an opportunity to peruse it Elizabeth!!! Thank you for sharing with the rest of us.

Maybe after my kids are gone and I don’t have to worry about hearing “He touched me!” yet again, I will get a banquette.
