A "Crumby" Poll
We’re having a little "discussion" about crumbs in our house right now. This is it.
My kids each have a different meal time clean-up job. One sweeps while another wipes the counters and table. The question is should they sweep the crumbs from the counter directly onto the floor since another somebody will be along shortly to sweep?
I have created a poll on my sidebar asking what you do in your home. You don’t have to be a registered user of Homeschool Blogger to participate and all voters will remain anonymous.
We can’t wait to see the results – especially if they support our point of view.
Crumbling under the crumb issue and needing some help…

Haha. We are laughing! This scenario sounds strangely familiar!
Great idea for a poll.

Well, considering I do all the cleanup at my house (my kids are all little), I often brush table crumbs onto the floor, and then immediately sweep them up. BUT, I think in the case of children each doing different chores, I think I would require the child cleaning the table/countertops to take care of the crumbs so as not to add more work to a siblings chore. It is not showing love to put more work in someone elses path. I would never go to a friends' house and wipe the crumbs onto the floor just because I could see she was going to sweep them up. My two cents. 🙂
