I think that's because we all have a child like this…thank you so much for sharing.

My four-year-old has just started asking questions about heaven. Finding answers that are true theologically but understandable to their little minds is not easy. I'm so glad God told us that we must have "faith like a child" or I would always wonder if they could really understand.

I was telling her about how the earth will burn and be purged from sin. Lydia started crying because her toys were going to be burned too. I tried to explain that she'll have greater treasures in heaven, but all she could focus on in her little girl mind was that her little stuffed puppy and other favorite toys would be burnt to a crisp. I have since learned to have a little more wisdom when it comes to explaining things to little ones.
