I am trying to do that with my son – he's 13. He loves to identify birds in the backyard, and anytime I can, I teach him names of flowers. He loves to tell people that echinacea comes from the purple cone flower and that aspirin used to come from the white willow tree bark. 🙂

Dangling the worm is not a science but an art, isn't it. We have to be sensitive to their personalities and interests, knowing when and how to wiggle that worm in front of their noses! You caught their interests. I just love that.

I enjoy KAH as much as our girls do. We learn so many things I wasn't taught growing up. And, Yes, Thanks to the good Lord! We got 2 inches of rain this past Friday. I opened all of the blinds and spent a good deal of time watching it rain. God is good! Tafy

(And I love watching as they lern when they don't think we are)
