Rotelle Pasta Salad
My mom found this recipe on the Internet but I don’t know the exact source.
I had doubts about putting cooked vegetables in the salad and so I was pleasantly surprised with the results. It tastes very good and gives the salad color.
Rotelle Pasta Salad
8oz. package rotelle pasta
6 slices bacon
16oz. frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup Italian style salad dressing
1 tsp. yellow mustard
1 Tbsp. seasoning salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
3oz. turkey breast, chopped into bite-size pieces
1 cup shredded cheddar
Fry bacon; crumble. Cook frozen vegetables 4 -6 minutes. Keep crisp; drain.
Mix all ingredients together, reserving some bacon and cheese to sprinkle on top.
