Another Birthday This Month

On the heels of my birthday comes my son Zachary’s.  He turned 15 this week. 

How do I describe Zachary?  Adjectives that come to mind are active, humorous, playful, curious, courteous,  talkative and friendly.  (just to name a few) 

He would rather be outside than doing schoolwork, riding horses rather than quads, going on a trail ride and making "biscuits" over a camp fire rather than mom’s cooking on Saturday morning, concocting his own recipes rather than following a cookbook, eating something unusual rather than normal – and the list could go on.  This boy is full of zest for life. 

He make things fun for the little kids and makes me laugh too, except when he’s not doing his schoolwork!  Academics are not his strong point but he could be another Thomas Edison, you just never know!
