Our Family

May I Introduce You To…

When I first started Treasuring the Moments I was unsure whether to use my children’s first names or not.  To be on the safe side I didn’t.  Recently, I asked a fellow blogger her opinion.  Her thoughts were that using first names should be fine but that she might not use the last name.

I made the decision to use my childrens first names.  I think it’s a lot easier to remember a name than initials too.  So without further adieu, may I present to you our family.

Russell, my dh

Elisabeth , yours truly

Seth – age 16

Zachary – age 14

Wesley – age 11

Serenity – age 9

Justus – age 3, and our little caboose

Audrey – age 1

Now that we’ve been properly introduced maybe we can get to know each other a little better. 🙂

Hope to see you around.

Nice to "meet" you. I know it can be a stressful decision as to whether or not to use first names.

I've decided that as long as I'm not too specific as to where we live, I'm pretty safe. So, I do the same as you do. I just give first names.

It is just so much easier to keep track of everyone when you know what to call everyone.

If you don't mind, I could e-mail you off list. With the infromation you were asking me. I could a walk you through a couple of things with the blog. I don't mind at all helping you out with the formating of the CSS.You have a easy format to do, If you would like to do this. I would just e-mail you from my main account if you don't mind?

PS. I enjoy helping other's & it would be fun to teach you too. My youngest daughter#2, is into graphics .You'll have to stop by her site, it's on the right side of my blog….

    Blessing from our end,

    ~Debbie~

t's nice to meet you and your family! 🙂 I just recently decided to put my children's names in my blog as well. I guess my reasoning went along the lines of simply being tired of just using a first initial. So, my children are :Chelsea, Jacob, Becky and Matthew. I am now referring to them as such on my blog. 🙂

P.S. How are you doing with the jt400? We've been keeping up, but haven't found all of the secret websites yet.

What beautiful names your children have!

I also use my kids names on my own blog, but I do not use our last name, and I don't give out the town where we live. I know some people won't post photos of their kids either, but I do that too. ( It's a nice way to share them with relatives that live far away!)

    Blessings,

    Michelle

I love hearing from you! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
