G.A. Henty lived from 1832-1902 and wrote many books of adventure for boys. His books are historical fiction and while centering around an event or person of a certain era, there is always a fictional hero character that exhibits positive character qualities.

These books help instill a desire in your boys to be a man of conviction and honor.
