What a lovely time and hated we had to miss out on that part. Was hoping you’d show more of where Tim grew up, area. Sure was great to see everyone again and glad we got in what we did, though it was short. We sure will treasure that last morning with Seth, that we had. A memory we’ll forever hold dear.

Yes, where we live in Arizona, the traffic slows to a crawl if there’s a hint of ice but in Canada they don’t even consider it.

The ice on the lake is 3 feet thick and there are ways they test it to make sure it’s safe to drive on and things they look for that are indications that the ice is starting to break up once the weather gets warmer but crossing the lake in winter is a daily occurrence for many of them.

Wow, that sure looks like a trip to remember! I’d definitely be a bit nervous driving on that ice though – I dont even like the roads near me when it’s been frosty!
