Re: smoke rooms, I’ve seen them around Japan too. Sometimes they’re enclosed in a glass-covered room. Other times, they’re just a separate section with really good vents for sucking up the smoke.

Those reclining chairs looked really comfy! Perfect for weary travelers. I can only wish most airports have them 😉

Loved visiting Zaire (what it was called back then) long time ago. Hope they don’t try and charge you an arm and a leg to leave from airport being Americans, like they did us saying our bags too heavy. I can’t wait to see photos of the wedding.
