And the mommy…

Audrey adores babies – loves to hold them, feed them, take care of them. She’ll make a great auntie.Shalom3

Justus kept checking his new little niece out. Was he marveling at new life, I wonder?

First time aunts and uncle.

Shalom4

The captivated Grandpa.

Shalom6

Am I really a Grandma??

Shalom Adriel

Shalom means “Peace”

Adriel means “God’s flock, from God’s congregation”

We are thankful for a relatively short delivery and a healthy grand-daughter!

We are so thankful for God’s blessing upon your wonderful sweet family! I know that she will manifest all of the attributes that her names mean! Our Joye Shalom has definitely lived up to her name!:-) God bless. .From the Tates.

Shalom was sleeping so peacefully last night and this was when they were debating whether to name her Adriel Shalom or Shalom Adriel that Hannah said, “Shalom is sounding really good because we want to keep her peaceful.” So we know names are important as Bro. Branham mentioned. Thank you so much for the well wishes!

Congratulations!! Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures! It’s an odd feeling when your babies have babies, isn’t it? 😉
So happy for the good news of this new little blessing of the Lord! <3

Thank the Lord for a beautiful granddaughter! Congratulations to Dad, Mom, Grandpas, Grandmas, all the Aunts, Uncles and cousins! 🙂 That is a lovely picture of you with the baby, Elizabeth, and I do believe you are the youngest looking Grandma I’ve seen! 🙂 It is difficult to imagine you being old enough! 🙂

It’s hard for me to believe I’m old enough to be a grandma but it’s probably really hard for your to imagine me being a grandma since you’ve known me since I was… 8? 10? But I do have plenty of gray hair to attest of my age. haha

We are so thankful to hear of the safe and healthy arrival of little Shalom. I didn’t think it would take very long for the blog to appear. 🙂 Welcome to the wonderful role of grandparents. If you think being a parent is great, this is better yet! Congratulations.

    • Elisabeth

Thanks, Holly. I keep hearing that being a grandparent is just the greatest. I think I must be getting ready to enter one of the best times of my life. I’d love to do things like you do with your grandchildren so keep me inspired. 🙂

So glad to hear all went well! To hear my friends are starting to become grandmas is making me jealous, but all things in time. Haha. Congratulations!! Have fun. 🙂

    • Elisabeth

      Thank you, Mary.

When Zachary got married, that was that. I hadn’t really considered the grandchildren part. But here I am with my first one. It’s really an odd feeling. It sounded so strange when they referred to me as “Grandma”. Who? What? Oh, it’s me! 🙂

Just have to offer my congratulations, Elisabeth! I’m a mom of 8, ranging in age from (almost) 19 years down to 9 months. I’m looking forward to plenty of sweet grandbabies in the future. 😉

I love hearing from you! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
