As a former seller of unusual collectibles on eBay, your story made me cringe. One thing I learned through thousands of sales was that one man’s trash really is often someone else’s treasure. There are some people who absolutely LOVE to decorate “rustic” items like these. My neighbor hits estate sales every weekend looking for such treasures. Oh well, live and learn, eh?
