We were there end of May a few years back…it started out sunny and then begin to rain as we came back down mountain behind Lake Louis. The water was the color of a swimming pool.

Jana is right though, they got around the area in less ease in olden days. The tea house we hiked up to was for that reason…when pass closes from snow or travelers need a break.

Still…great photos…know the pain of trying for that perfect family one.
