Our homeschool group decided to visit the nursing home instead of having a Valentine’s Day party. I was so happy that Isaac enjoyed interacting/helping the elderly so much. He helped them make a craft and then decorated individual cookies and handed them out. Our family sang a song and Anna played several piano pieces. On the actual day, we didn’t really celebrate, although, Kara made cut-out cookies and gave them to our neighbors, her piano teacher, the Jehovah Witnesses who stopped by, and Grandpa Py.

Your celebration sounds very fun and I may borrow some of your ideas for next year!
