Week in Review – 4/18 – 4/24/11
This week I tried my hand at making Feta Cheese with goat’s milk. We’re getting about 2 gallons of goats milk a day and were needing to get creative with it!
We finally got around to making Resurrection Cookies. It’s a little late now but here’s a link to how you can make them. Next year, right?
This picture represents Jesus being beaten. (I don’t think they’re supposed to be smiling at this. 🙂 )
Here they were tasting salt – representing the salty tears of Jesus’ followers after He died.
Friday was our 22nd wedding anniversary. Russell brought home Chinese take-out (I made a meal for the kids & some of their friends who were here.) and he took me on the quad up into a wooded area by our house where we had our picnic. We took a little walk throught the woods. It was a very sweet time. I love fancy dinners and nice hotels but I also love simplicity. I think it can be just as fun and memorable.
Sunday, the Sunday School children sang a song and acted out “He’s Alive” by Don Francisco.
Audrey was very intent in her singing. 🙂
Have a good week and I promise that bee post is coming!

My younger children love making the Resurrection cookies!
Happy Anniversary! Isn’t it wonderful to still be in love?!

I first heard about Resurrection cookies last year but this year was our first to make them. It is such a neat way to “tell” the story.
Thanks for the anniversary wishes. I am VERY thankful for a wonderful Godly husband. God really blessed my life…
